Perm Respiratory Therapist (RT): General

POSITION: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Home Healthcare
Location: McAlester, OK

Placement Fee: 22% of annual salary

PAY & INCENTIVES

• $35 to $40 per hour depending on related experience
• Bonus opportunity available
• $4,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $2,000 at 60 days
  • $2,000 at 180 days
• Company vehicle provided
• $50 per month cell phone reimbursement

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Field based role with daily travel

Coverage Area

• McAlester and surrounding areas
• Approximately 60-mile radius

On Call Rotation

• Required participation in on call rotation
• Every other week rotation
• Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays during assigned week
• Responsible for urgent patient needs and equipment issues after hours

• Must reside within 60 miles of McAlester, OK

OVERVIEW

This is a full time, field based clinical role focused on in home respiratory care.

• Conduct in home patient assessments
• Provide education on respiratory equipment and therapy
• Set up and adjust ventilators and oxygen therapy per physician orders
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time
• Provide ongoing follow up and phone support
• Participate in on call rotation every other week
• Support training of new clinical staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Respiratory Therapist license RRT or CRT required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must live within 60 miles of service area

Preferred

• Experience in DME or home healthcare
• 1 plus year clinical experience
• Degree in respiratory therapy or related field

SKILLS

Strong patient communication and education

• Ability to work independently in the field
• Problem solving and equipment troubleshooting
• Time management and organization

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
• Email and digital documentation systems
• Standard office equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 65 lbs
• Daily driving and in home patient visits
• Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
• Exposure to patient environments and potential health risks
• Must comply with N95 fit testing requirements
