A respected community hospital in Southeast Alabama is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a highly collaborative and autonomous anesthesia team. This facility is known for its positive culture, leadership support, and commitment to employee growth. The anesthesia team plays a critical role within the organization and works closely with Orthopedic and General Surgery providers in a collegial setting.

Position Highlights
Compensation around $149/hour with annual market and merit adjustments
Monday-Friday schedule
Shared 1:3 weekend call rotation
Shared night call responsibilities
Very low callback burden (typically only 1-2 callback cases per month)

Team & Case Mix

Current team consists of:
2 full-time CRNAs
1 Anesthesiologist retiring at the end of the year
Additional PRN CRNA support as needed
Supporting approximately 3 surgeons

Facility averages approximately 300 cases per month:
~250 Endoscopy/Colonoscopy cases
Orthopedics
Occasional General Surgery cases including lap appys and lap choles

Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia evaluations
Support life functions during anesthesia administration
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
Participate in shared call rotation
Deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with CRNA standards and hospital policies

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and School of Anesthesia for Nurses
Active Alabama RN license with CRNA designation
Current CRNA certification
ACLS/BLS required
Previous CRNA experience preferred
