What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Graduate of a specialty training program (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Radiology Technologist (ARRT) within 12 months

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform CT procedures and post-processing to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related computer systems safely and effectively
• Select and apply appropriate protocols based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established standards
• Prepare, position, and immobilize patients; apply shielding when appropriate
• Perform CT interventional procedures as assigned
• Perform CTA imaging studies (including carotid, head/vertebral, run-offs, PE bolus timing, and advanced studies such as TAVR/EVAR/cardiac imaging)
• Use pharmacology knowledge to support safe imaging (including ensuring appropriate lab results are obtained)
• Apply physics and dose-reduction best practices to help minimize patient exposure
• Adjust technical factors to optimize scan quality and workflow when ideal conditions cannot be met
