Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Home Healthcare

Position Overview • Home-based respiratory therapy and clinical support • Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule • Travel to patient homes using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) • Some on-call duties for ventilator issues • Service area includes Lake Havasu, Kingman, and Bullhead City • RRT certification required (no LCM at this time) • DME experience preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities • Conduct in-home patient assessments and provide clinical education on respiratory equipment • Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders • Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment to ensure optimal function • Maintain accurate documentation of services and patient interactions • Provide ongoing phone support and follow-up care for respiratory patients • Participate in on-call rotations for ventilator support • Support training and orientation of new clinical staff

Compensation and Benefits • Competitive hourly rate: $32-$36/hour based on experience • Bonus opportunities available • $4,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 after 60 days, $2,000 after 180 days) • Mileage reimbursement for patient visits

Qualifications • Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT required) • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Valid driver's license with clean driving record • Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required • Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred • Completion of accredited respiratory care program preferred • Home respiratory care or home healthcare experience preferred • BLS certification required • Must comply with Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy

Technical Proficiency • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) • Comfortable with email communication and internet research • Ability to use office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, computer/tablet)

Work Environment This role requires the ability to lift and transport patient equipment (minimum 65 lbs), work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the care team, and travel regularly to patient homes. Providers must be comfortable with exposure to contagious pathogens and able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen for extended periods.
