What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiology program (or equivalent)
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT CT certification (to be obtained within 2 years of hire)
• Diagnostic imaging equipment experience/training
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively across departments
• Preferred (not required): 1-3 years of experience and familiarity with PACS

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform CT examinations while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and privacy (HIPAA)
• Review clinical history and confirm imaging orders are complete and medically necessary
• Assess patient readiness, contraindications, and ability to tolerate exams; escalate as appropriate per policy
• Position patients correctly and use proper tools/techniques to ensure high-quality image acquisition
• Apply independent judgment during exams to capture relevant anatomy and clinical conditions
• Review images for completeness and obtain additional imaging as needed for optimal diagnostic quality
• Document limitations or challenges encountered during the exam
• Support day-to-day imaging department operations, including assisting with transport as needed
• Help train/educate students and residents as applicable
