Perm Radiologic Technologist: Mammography

We are hiring full-time Mammography Technologists to deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. This is a permanent placement role, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with accurate positioning, high image quality, and compassion for each patient.
• Operate mammography equipment, testing and measuring devices, and office equipment safely and correctly.
• Document exams and patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Interact with patients in a fast-paced environment, explaining procedures clearly and putting them at ease.
• Model AIDET principles, service excellence, and service recovery in every patient interaction.
• Follow all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines and consistently demonstrate a commitment to safe practices.
• Where applicable, perform breast ultrasound exams (preferred; training is available).

Qualifications

Required

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Mammography, ARRT(M), in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred

• Experience in both screening and diagnostic mammography (we are willing to train candidates who are not yet proficient in both)
• Several years of recent experience in mammography and breast ultrasound (eligible for the enhanced pay rate)

New Graduates Welcome

We will consider new graduates. We prefer candidates who already hold ARRT(M) certification. We will also review resumes from candidates with prior mammography or breast center experience. Candidates who do not yet hold the ARRT(M) may be considered if they are willing to sit for the ARRT(M) exam and earn the certification within 90 days.

• Willingness to learn and perform both screening and diagnostic exams.
